Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Miv Sudoku app (the “app”) provided by Mivrise (“we”).

1. The service

The app provides sudoku puzzles, the Daily Sudoku, practice puzzles, records and statistics, and reminders. Rankings are a planned feature. We may change features to improve the service and will give advance notice of changes that reduce paid features.

2. Free play and ads

On Android you can start three games a day for free, refilled at midnight Korea time. After that, you may watch one rewarded ad, if you wish, for an extra game. Watching ads is always optional, and no ads pop up during a puzzle.

3. One-time purchase

“Remove ads · lifetime purchase” is a one-time product with no auto-renewal. It removes ads and the daily game limit and unlocks unlimited hints and four extra themes. The price is shown on the Google Play payment screen before you buy.

You can get your purchase back on any Android device signed in to the same Google account via Settings → Restore purchases in the app.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Google Play processes payments, and refunds follow applicable law and the Google Play refund policy. Within 48 hours of purchase you can request a refund directly from Google Play; after that, email contact@mivrise.com.

If a defect in the app prevents you from using what you bought and we cannot fix it, we will help you get a refund.

5. Ranking rules (planned)

• Nicknames are up to 12 characters and may not contain profanity, impersonate others or include personal information.
• Results obtained with automation or manipulation, and nicknames that break these rules, may be removed without notice.
• Only the first attempt on each date is ranked.

6. Your records

Puzzle records are stored on your device and are not transferred if you change devices or clear data. We cannot recover records lost through device failure or deletion.

7. Limitation of liability

Unless caused by our intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for damage caused by natural disasters, network failures or outages of external services such as Google. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.

8. Changes to these terms

We will announce changes on this page and in the app 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes that work against you).
